PRESIDENT LINCOLN ASSASINATED!

It was Friday April 14,1865, President Lincoln was planning to see a play later that night. John Wilkes Booth was also planning on going to the theatre that night, but not to see a play, to kill President Lincoln. That night after everyone was seated for the play, the presidents guards were called out of the room. Booth crawled in and stabbed President Lincoln in the back of his head. Lincoln died the next morning. Twelve days after lincoln died Booth was captured and killed.
