By Quentin

Nothing but destruction
|
A man named General Sherman lead Yankee troops from Tennessee to Savanna on a spree of destruction destroying every thing that could help the confederates. He passed Atlanta leaving nothing but bodies, bullets, flames, and ashes.
This march helped the north by not only cutting off supplies to the south but taking many casualties and destroying many cities. This helped lead the north to victory.
