DOCK LABORER
Part-time
The Free Lance-Star is looking for an employee to assist on our loading docks. Duties include preparation of papers for delivery; set-up and processing of carriers; loading papers onto trucks; help with deliveries, cleaning on the dock. Must be at least 18 years of age. Hours are Tuesday nights from 7 p.m.-11pm and Friday and/or Saturday nights between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., approximately 16 hours per week. Base pay is $7.25 per hour. Employment is contingent on successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening results.

Job description: DRIVER Part-time Nights Drive our automatic transmission vans to load, deliver and unload bundles of newspapers, 25 to 30 pounds each, to drop locations within Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. CDL not required. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a good driving record. This position requires basic math skills. Must work well in a deadline-oriented and fast-paced work environment. Hours include various shifts between 11 p.m. and 10 a.m., Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work on Friday and Saturday nights. Approximately 25 hours per week. Base pay is $9.50 per hour. Employment is contingent on successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening results.
