A funeral for Preston Coleman, 69, of Woodford will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Community Baptist Church in Woodford. The Rev. Clarence E. Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. A Veterans of Foreign Wars service will be included. Mr. Coleman, founder and owner of Boxley & Coleman Construction Co., died at his residence Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002. He was a member and deacon at Macedonia Community Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Deloris Jones Coleman; a daughter, Vashti Coleman-Catlett of Fredericksburg; two sons, Preston Coleman Jr. of Woodford and Gilbert Coleman of Richmond; seven sisters; three brothers; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; and his aunt, Annie Coleman-Brown, who helped raise him. Bailey Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, is handling arrangements.
