Date published: 10/28/2002 (Anaheim, California-AP) -- Police believe a man who was found dead near Edison International Field was stabbed at a tailgate party in the stadium's parking lot after Game Seven of the World Series. Investigators in Anaheim, California, followed a trail of blood leading from the south parking lot of the stadium to 27-year-old Leopoldo Bastida. Police say he walked nearly two blocks before collapsing last night night. A police spokesman says "a fight apparently broke out in the parking lot and that's where he was stabbed." There are no suspects, and the cause of the fight is unknown. The Anaheim Angels beat the San Francisco Giants 4-to-1 to win the Series.
