NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE: The Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) will be under the glare of the Monday Night Football cameras for the second time this season when they play host to the New York Giants (3-3) at Veterans Stadium this evening. It will be a battle between the NFC East's first-place Eagles and second-place Giants. In Philadelphia's last Monday Night game, the Eagles beat the listless Redskins 37-7 as quarterback Donovan McNabb threw for 292 yards. The game was remembered as much for Philadelphia's dominance as for an incident where police used pepper spray to clear a fight and ended up clearing the Eagles bench at FedEx Field. Giants defensive end Michael Strahan will attempt to put a stop to the Eagles' recent success. He had 3 sacks against McNabb in their last meeting in December.
