Date published: 4/4/2003 A US soldier accused of killing two of his comrades in a grenade attack has been charged with murder. Sergeant Hasan Akbar allegedly rolled grenades into officers' tents at a camp in Kuwait. Akbar is also charged with trying to murder 17 other members of the 101st Airborne Division at their camp. Officials at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where the 101st is based say he was charged March 25th under military law. Akbar was returned to the US Friday and is being held at an undisclosed military facility.
