The number 13 didn't prove to be unlucky at all for the Mary Washington College baseball team. The Eagles won their 13th straight game with a 5-3 nonconference victory over visiting Villa Julie yesterday. MWC's Sean Townsend drove in the game winner with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Eagles added an insurance run later in the same at-bat when Aaron Altscher drove in Jay Quintana with an RBI single. Brendan Orsinger picked up the victory on the mound, striking out eight while allowing just five hits in a complete-game performance. Altscher finished with four hits, all singles, in four trips to the plate. Quintana finished with two RBIs, both coming on a third-inning single. MWC (18-4) will visit Bridgewater College today at 3 p.m. in a key regional contest. <> <> <> > <> > <> > <> > <> R > <> H > <> E > > <> <> Villa Julie > <> 000 > <> 010 > <> 200 > <> 3 > <> 5 > <> 3 > > <> <> MWC > <> 003 > <> 000 > <> 02x > <> 5 > <> 7 > <> 6 > > >LEE JAMISON, Justin Amig (8) and Andrew Walling.
