Gloria Faith Jones, 78, of Mineral, formerly of Bumpass, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia T. Long and her husband, Michael; three brothers, Douglas C. Jones and his wife, Lillian, of Bowling Green, Carlyle B. Jones and his wife, Crystal, and Stuart R. Jones and his wife, Ella Mae, all of Unionville; eight nieces and nephews; and a beloved cat, Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Garland R. Jones. A graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, July 12, at 11 a.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, State Route 33, Louisa. The family will receive friends Friday, July 11, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Christian Church, Water-Septic Fund, 1705 Belle Meade Road, Bumpass, Va. 23024.
