Life is like a George Michael song.

You've gotta have faith.

Last week at a show at Picker's Supply, Last Tuesday and Curbsquirrels proved this.

These two fresh-faced bands from Dug Records put on quite a show.

Whether they are "punk 'n' roll" or "punk hope rock," they were definitely amazing.

At about 9 p.m., Curbsquirrels took the stage in the back of Picker's Supply. The representative from their record label warned the audience that there would be no moshing or jumping, because the guitars on the floor below may fall off the walls, which would be a horrendous thing.

In any case, they started playing their astounding set. With their uplifting lyrics and grand stage presence, they proved that their music has much potential.

Next was Last Tuesday--not the day of the week, but the band. They were energetic and cheerful. It is genuinely difficult to describe how powerful the band's music is.

Curbsquirrels and Last Tuesday are on a split CD that is available at Inter punk.com and is worth your time to check out.

If you have ever felt torn on the inside, they might just put the faith you need back into you to get back on your feet.
