Regarding Nora Eldridge's recent letter to The Free Lance-Star ["Massage therapists can spot domestic violence, too," Nov. 26]:

I had no intention of offending massage therapists or anyone else with my comments, nor did I intend to elevate any industry over another.

The article that appeared in the paper ["Cut it out," Nov. 14] was simply to raise awareness of domestic violence and offer an avenue of help to those who need it.

If Eldridge, or anyone else in the service industry who deals with women or men on a personal level, feels left out and wishes to participate in this worthwhile program, please call Hair, Wigs, and Tan at 371-6633. I will personally see that you are invited to the next class.
