Spotsylvania Crime Solvers is seeking information on the following crimes:

More than $5,000 in copper piping was stolen off the premises of a business in the Four-Mile Fork Industrial Park. During the nighttime hours of Feb. 3, the suspects used a vehicle to ram into the gated area of the business. They then used a backhoe located on the property to load the 3,400 feet of copper piping onto their car and drove off. One of the rear taillights of the suspect car broke off from the impact on the gate.

A homeowner on South Branch Road in the South Oaks subdivision walked into her residence after work and heard an intruder in the kitchen. An unknown suspect had entered the residence, stolen cash and jewelry and was scared off when the owner entered the house. This incident occurred at 9:20 p.m. on Feb. 9.

On Jan. 17, unknown suspects broke into Better Brokers, located in the 8000 block of Jeff Davis Highway. Stolen were business checks and a Colt .380 caliber pistol.

Unknown subjects entered a residence under construction in the Crown Grant subdivision and stole $700 in appliances. The home was entered between Feb. 5 and Feb. 10. Taken were a Whirlpool electric range and a Whirlpool range hood.

A residence in the 4000 block of Lee Hill School Drive was broken into during the daytime hours of Feb. 8. The suspect kicked in a door and stole a Sony PlayStation 2 system along with five games and a checkbook.

Most wanted

Thomas Reyes Woodard, 21, whose last known residence was in Richmond, is wanted on a felony charge of drug possession. He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 205 pounds with brown eyes and blond hair.

Owes child support

Samuel David Ingram, 59, whose last known address was in New York City, is wanted for failure to pay child support. He is in arrears on payments amounting to $159,127.50. He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, 185 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on these or other crimes is asked to call Crime Solvers at 582-5822. Information leading to an arrest may be worth up to $1,000.
