Donald H. Payne

Donald H. Payne Sr., 64, of Culpeper passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Mr. Payne was born February 11, 1940, in Orange County to the late Lloyd Ryvers Payne and Fannie Suder Payne. He was the owner of Payne's Pavement Marking for 36 years and was devoted to his clients. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Culpeper.

Donald is survived by his wife of 32 years, Frances Weakley Payne of Culpeper; his children, Donald "Butch" Payne Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of Fredericksburg, Steve Payne and his wife, Michelle, of Warrenton, Denise Stanley and her husband, Butch, of Fredericksburg, and Tim Jenish and his wife, Bonnie, of Culpeper; brothers Robert Payne and John Payne, both of Culpeper; a sister, Carrie P. Breeden of Culpeper; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Allen Payne; and a stepson, Chris Jenish.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clore-English Funeral Home, Culpeper, with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Albritton will officiate.
