Red Sox 5, Cubs 5 April 29 at Cosner Park The Red Sox rallied in the fourth inning for six runs to come from behind and defeat the Cubs. The rally was led by Ben White, playing in his first game since breaking his hand earlier this spring. Jacob Balgoyen was credited with the pitching victory, and Mitchell Leippert recorded the save by getting the Cubs batter to pop out to end the game with the bases loaded. Red Sox 15, Braves 12 May 1 at Marshall Park The Red Sox were led offensively by Jacob Balgoyen and Ben White, who each had four RBI. The big Red Sox lead almost slipped away in the last two innings as Red Sox pitchers had difficulty throwing strikes with a wet baseball during a torrential spring rain. Cameron Bumgardner--who played a solid defensive game for the Red Sox at second base--came on to retire the final Braves' batters to record the save. MinorSuns 15, Giants 5 May 4 at Marshall Park Suns pitcher Dakota Drain had a great win with 10 strikeouts. Drain also had help from catcher Jonathan Leboeuf when they made a great play at home for the third out in the second inning. Tanner Sabourin had a crowd-thrilling triple in the second inning with a total of six RBI. Also, Jonathan Leboeuf had two singles along with teammates Dakota Drain and Scott Garretson who each had a double.
