Luciano Fortini of Perry Hall, Md., went to the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, as a result of taking his life while in Stafford County.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who suffered from Parkinson's disease. The pain and torment of the disease is no longer a burden for him. He was a retired welder and worked part-time as a clerk with Rite-Aid in Maryland. He was an extraordinary artist and loved to paint.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Fortini; son, Joseph, and daughter-in-law, Donna, and son, Bryan, all from Perry Hall; his daughter, Debbie Hill, and son-in-law, Tony Hill, of Stafford, and daughter, Kim Christian of Manassas; and seven grandchildren, Adam and Eric Ciarpello, Allie Heflin, Jason Kohne, GianLuca, Kelsey, and Jake Fortini.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peaceful Alternatives in Timonium, Md.
