Whether your Thanksgiving turkey's still just a pipe dream wafting from the kitchen or the reason you polished off that bottle of Tums, try to savor what's left of the day.

Tomorrow brings the official beginning of the frenzied Christmastime season, and with it, a blizzard of yuletide events. So, in case you can still make out the numbers on your December calendar, here are some holiday happenings to consider.

l "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," Massaponax High School at U.S. 1 and Guinea Station Road, Spotsylvania. 8 p.m. Runs again Dec. 4-5 at 2 p.m., Dec. 10-11 at 8 p.m., and Dec. 11-12 at 2 p.m. Adults $10, students and seniors $7, children under 12 $5. l Sanders Family Christmas. Runs through Dec. 19. The Bowling Green Community Theatre presents the story of a family with one more chance to sing together on Christmas Eve before one son goes off to war. Dec. 26

l A Washington Christmas, George Washington's Birthplace, State Route 204, off State Route 3 east, Westmoreland. Runs through Jan. 6. Dec. 31

l First Night Fredericksburg. A family-oriented celebration of the new year with live music and entertainment, children's games and food in downtown Fredericksburg.
