Through Jan. 29: Second segment, regular duck season. (Canvasback and pintail open only Dec. 27-Jan. 29). Jan. 14: Regular season for Canada geese ends in Western Zone of Virginia. Jan. 15-Feb. 15: Extended season for Canada geese opens in Western Zone. Daily bag limit increases to 5 geese daily. Jan. 15-16: Maryland Fly Fishing Show, Reckford Armory, University of Maryland, College Park. Doors open at 9 a.m. both days. $14 admission, adults; $2 under age 12.
