Driver of car that came around curve is injured. Date published: 3/3/2005 A crash on Massaponax Church Road near Smith Station Road sent one person to the hospital just before 4 p.m. today. The accident occurred when a delivery truck was attempting a left turn into a driveway and acar came around a curve too fast. Before the truck could get out of the way, the car struck the truck head on. State police report the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured. Auhorities closed the road in both directions for a little more than an hour. The crash remains under investigation.
