Angry about fuel costs? Jo Ann Davis didn't help matters

May 8, 2005 1:07 am

Over the last few years, Rep. Jo Ann Davis has consistently voted against everyday people and in favor of corporate welfare and rewarding the rich with tax giveaways.

With energy prices skyrocketing, remember that she voted "no" on raising fuel standards and making certain new vehicles were more energy-efficient.

If Jo Ann Davis had looked out for the best interests of Virginia, standards for passenger automobiles and light trucks would have been set at 26 mpg in 2005 and at 27.5 mpg in 2007.

Davis also voted against incentives for alternative-fuel vehicles.

Remember Jo Ann Davis and the Republicans' failed energy policies as you fill up, wondering why it's costing so much.
