Amber Hill Farm helps young riders make dads feel special

June 17, 2005 1:08 am

FOR THOSE horse show dads looking for a great place to spend Father's Day, that place is Amber Hill Farm's Horse Show on Sunday.

In addition to the regular schedule of classes, Amber Hill offers a special class for dads on Father's Day. The Annual Father's Day Leadline Class is the best way for horse-showing children to honor their fathers.

For all those dedicated horse show dads who enthusiastically wake up at 0-dark thirty to hitch and load up the horse trailer, this show is dedicated to you. For all those long days spent driving the trailer, hauling water for the pony, cleaning out the horse trailer, and giving everyone a leg up, this class is your chance to be in the spotlight. After hours spent watching and congratulating the winning ( and losing) child and pony in the heat of summer and the cold of winter, this is your opportunity to shine in the winner's circle.

Also featured at this show, the Forrest Linton Memorial Classic division will be held.

NOTE: Sean May of Fredericksburg, has successfully completed certification requirements for the country's original program in equine sport massage therapy.
