Only 12 days left till Christmas and only 18 days to make a charitable donation to receive a tax break.

American Red Cross Spokeswoman Deborah Campbell says the new tax law, KETRA, Katrina Emergency Tax Relief Act will allow you to deduct donations in the amounts of up to 100% of your adjusted gross income.

While cash is the most popular way, it's not the only way, according to Campbell.

She says stock, life insurance, and personal property are all just as appreciated and deductible.
