Catherine Torrice

Catherine Hall Torrice, 75, of Falmouth died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at Woodmont Center. Born in Spotsylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Atwell D. Hall and Elsie Raines Hall.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Felix A. Torrice; five children, Valerie Windom and her husband, Darrel, Geary Torrice and his wife, Lisa, Felix A. Torrice Jr., Gina Pelchat and her husband, Matthew, and Dominic "Nick" Torrice and his wife, Cindy; four loving grandchildren, Timothy Windom, Corey Torrice, Sara Torrice and Nicky Torrice; her sister, Ruth Hall Sullivan and her husband, Murray; her brother, James "Jimmy" Hall and his wife, Ruby; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. William Price officiating. Entombment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
