Eric Pearson
Eric Pearson, 55, of Washington, D.C., died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at Community Hospice of Washington. The cause was cancer.
He was a trained systems engineer who was last employed by the Canadian Embassy. Mr. Pearson was a Canadian citizen.
Survivors include his companion, Susan Delgado; and five children by his first marriage to Suzanne Pearson, Cory Pearson and his partner, Mel Carnell, of Laurel, Md., Angela Walker and her husband, Charles, and Nichole Young and her husband, Ray, both of Fredericksburg, Jennifer O'Brien and her husband, Patrick, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Kathleen Smith and her husband, Kane, of Easley, S.C.; his brother, Allan C. Pearson and his wife, Dorothy, of Victoria, British Columbia; two sisters, Colleen Fleharty and her husband, Ward, of New Freedom, Pa., and Janice Petersen and her husband, Jim, of Buckley Bay, British Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and Ms. Delgado's two sons, Andres and Nicolas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Covenant Funeral Chapel, 4801 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg. A gathering for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the home of his daughter, Nichole Young.
