Please allow me to write about Rep. Jo Ann Davis. In the first months of her tenure, she showed me that Virginia was to be well-served by this woman who loves her state and country. She immediately tried to save Crow's Nest. She raised millions of federal dollars to purchase it and continues to support all county efforts to save it. Her love for Virginia history and its natural resources are without question. We toured many local battlefields together in her first months in office, and her commitment to the preservation of these honored sites was unwavering. I know no one who has tried any harder to serve the people of the 1st Congressional District than Jo Ann Davis. John D.
