Hospice volunteers honored for service

Date published: 5/19/2006

Hospice Support Care hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on April 26 to recognize and thank its volunteers for the 25,000 hours of service they provided to the community in 2005.

Volunteers are the heart of Hospice Support Care and are instrumental in the care we provide to seriously ill and bereaved individuals.

We would like to thank the Rappahannock United Way for honoring our volunteers in a special way at the luncheon.

Hospice Support Care received the Best Volunteer Agency 2005 Award "in recognition of its commitment and dedication to volunteerism in the greater Fredericksburg community."

On behalf of its volunteers, Hospice Support Care would also like to thank the Fredericksburg Jaycees for presenting us with their Community Service Award for "outstanding dedication and service to the greater Fredericksburg community."

Thank you, Hospice Support Care volunteers, for all you do to make our agency a valuable asset to the community.
