Kristen Rooker and Shelby Harmon are Chancellor High School's valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for 2006. Kristen Rooker attended the Commonwealth Governor's School for four years and was a member of the National Art Honor Society, French Club and the Catholic Youth Organization. She coached soccer for Parks and Recreation. Kristen plans to attend Bridgewater College and major in biology. Shelby Harmon was a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, SCA and Key Club. She won the William and Mary Leadership Award and was a representative from the Commonwealth Governor's School at the House of Delegates Governor's School Expo. She played field hockey and soccer, and was recognized as Second Team All District in field hockey her senior year. Shelby is a certified life guard and is the Salem Fields Swim team Executive Board co-chairman. She plans to attend University of Virginia and major in pre-dental. |
