Fredericksburg

Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) will observe its annual Men's Day at the 11 a.m. worship service tomorrow. The Rev. Craig Conyers from Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., will be the guest speaker.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg will host Laurie James from New York and her one-woman show "Winter Wheat--The Betrayal of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and her Woman's Bible," tomorrow at 11 a.m.

Spotsylvania County

Bethlehem Baptist Church will celebrate its 141st anniversary tomorrow at 3 p.m. Guest minister will be the Rev. Nathaniel Young from Beulah Baptist Church, Arcadia.

First New Hope Baptist Church, Partlow, will celebrate Deacon, Deaconess and Trustee Annual Day tomorrow at 3 p.m. The Rev. Morris Walker, retired pastor of Piney Branch Baptist Church in Spotsylvania will be the guest speaker.

New Life in Christ Church will hold a 10-week class exploring Christianity starting June 29 and continuing through Aug. 31, on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants may attend one or all evenings.

Spotswood Baptist Church will hold an Independence Day concert starting at 7 p.m. Thursday. The concert will feature Psalm 150, the church orchestra, Trumpet Trio, Trombone Quartet and Messiah's Brass, all celebrating America and the grace of God. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Free tickets will be available at the church office.

Zoan Baptist Church will hold vacation Bible school, "Arctic Edge," Monday through Friday. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. and classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

Stafford County

Colonial Baptist Church will host a biblical drama, "The Life of the Apostle Paul," tomorrow at 10:40 a.m., performed by The Academy of Arts Christian Drama Team.

Employing professional stage lights, sound and representative costumes and props, the 10-member cast will present a chronological study of the life of Paul, tracing his missionary journey and acting out the most dramatic events.

Oak Grove Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Family and Friends Weekend starting today at noon.
