Wanda Cushing's letter to the editor was the typical, narrow-minded, rabid parental spewing that I find disgusting ["Saving Crow's Nest instead of schools? What a waste!" June 20].
I don't have children, and I couldn't care less about anyone else's children or if they learn a thing in school.
It makes me sick how much of my taxes already go toward educating other people's children.
Crow's Nest is a very special place. Once it is gone, it will be gone forever.
There will always be children and parents who are going to suck up my tax dollars.
I'd like to see some of my tax dollars go towards something that matters to me .
It's sad that parents with an attitude like Ms. Cushing's have children who will most likely grow up to be self-important jerks like their parents who think only of themselves and their self-gratification.
Gimme, gimme, gimme. Where does it end?
