Claudia Vincenti and Kristen Lucia are Brooke Point High School's valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for 2006.

Claudia is active in academic and extra- curricular activities. She was a member and officer in the National Honor Society. She was historian for two years in the National Art Honor Society, and was president and vice president of the National Latin Honor Society. This year she was a Top Hawk who assisted freshmen in making the transition to high school. She has been active in sports as a member of the cross country team, indoor track and outdoor track teams. Along with her impressive GPA, she has received a number of awards, including Summa Cum Laude, Fredericksburg Optimist Club student of the month, Academic Awards for Achievement each year at Brooke Point and Magna Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam. She will attend Washington and Lee University in the fall.

Kristen has a GPA of 4.45. In addition to working hard in her studies, she has been active in student life. She has been a member of the varsity tennis team, served on the yearbook staff and been a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Top Hawks, Junior Civitans, HOSA and BP Players. She volunteered at Mary Washington Hospital and held leadership positions in high school. She was captain of the varsity tennis team and editor of the school yearbook. She has received a number of awards, including Summa Cum Laude, the coach's award for tennis, and the all-academic award each of her high school career. She will attend the University of Virginia in the fall.
