A mean-spirited attitude won't help Crow's Nest

Date published: 7/6/2006

I would love to know whether Kathryn Purinton went to public or private schools. If public, does she ever wonder who funded her education? ["Parents, quit whining ," June 25].

Our future lies in the laps of the children of this generation. Yes, Crow's Nest is a wonderful cause, and I can read the passion Ms. Purinton feels for it, but I have never in my life read such a mean-spirited letter.

It is pretty much a given that a mean-spirited attitude is what turns people away from a good cause.

I will gladly give a portion of my tax dollars for a tad bit more of continuing education for Ms. Purinton. Course 1: Anger management. Course 2: Compassion.
