Corrine Tye and Jason Scott Keck are North Stafford's High School's valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for 2006.
Corrine was on several teams, including swimming, cross country, tennis and Rappahannock girls lacrosse, and is an American Red Cross certified lifeguard and water safety instructor. She was the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership attendee, and participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Roll, and was president of the Student Council, a member of the National Honor Society and Optimist Student of the Month for September. She will attend the University of Virginia and major in pre-dental with an Air Force ROTC scholarship.
Jason Scott Keck is the son of Col. Gary and Melissa Keck. He is the third of four children and has lived in Stafford County for four years. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he has played an active role in service and leadership positions. Jason was a member of the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. He has received numerous academic awards throughout his four years at North Stafford. His senior year, he received the VSPCA Award of Achievement for Accounting, the Garland Dovel Math Award, the Outstanding Senior Science Award, and the Outstanding AP English Student Award. He was the Optimist Student of the Month for January. Jason will attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, this fall with a four-year full-tuition scholarship, and plans to major in computer engineering. After a semester of college, he will spend two years on a mission for his church, then return to finish his schooling.
