Date published: 7/30/2006 Dawn Smith Dawn Marie Smith, 35, of Partlow died Thursday, July 27, 2006, at her home. Dawn was a graduate of Spotsylvania High School. She received an associate degree from Germanna Community College and graduated from Bluefield College with her bachelor's degree in business administration. She worked as a paralegal in Northern Virginia and for MediCorp in their Regulatory Affairs office. Dawn was an avid scrapbooker, loved to cook and enjoyed country music. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, James Allan Franklin Smith; her daughter, Ashley Lynn Smith of Spotsylvania; a brother, Michael James Knotts of Spotsylvania; a grandmother, June Luckenbaugh of Brooksville, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, July 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found & Sons Funeral Chapels- Cremation Service in Fredericksburg at the corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m. in the Bolyard family cemetery, Tunnelton, W.Va.
