Involvement, yes, but 'outrage'? Not at all
As a first-year student at Randolph-Macon Woman's College, I am closely following communications related to the co-ed vote ["College criticized for adding men," Sept. 5].
I was troubled by the way students and alumni were portrayed in the article as "reacting with outrage."
Yes, the students are actively involved in supporting the single-sex tradition. However, there have been no protests or rioting that would exhibit "outrage."
Students have been particularly careful to remain peaceful and still effectively demonstrate their opinions.
