Snyder lifts UMW over Seahawks

Freshman forward Ryan Snyder scored one goal and assisted on two others as the University of Mary Washington's men's soccer team defeated St. Mary's College (3-0) yesterday in St. Mary's City, Md.

UMW (6-0) will visit Goucher College in a Capital Athletic Conference game on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Volleyball

The Eagles dropped a three-game CAC match to Gallaudet University last night at Goolrick Gymnasium. The Eagles (8-5,0-2) will host Lynchburg College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
