John Edwards to campaign with Jim Webb in Fredericksburg Tuesday Date published: 9/22/2006 By Michael Zitz John Edwards will join Webb for rally here Democratic 2004 vice presidential nominee John Edwards is scheduled to campaign in Fredericksburg Tuesday with his party's candidate for the U.S. Senate, Jim Webb. Edwards, a former U.S. senator from North Carolina, is expected to run for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. He and Webb will speak at a rally at 3 p.m. Tuesday on the terrace of Lee Hall at the University of Mary Washington. In case of rain, the rally will move to the Lee Hall Ballroom. Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, whose maiden name was Anania, attended Mary Washington College in the 1970s. --Michael Zitz
