Lego League Classes: assorted classes offered; all take place at the Rowser Building, 1739 Jefferson Davis Highway.

Team Challenge, Oct. 30 to Nov. 20, Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m. Young students will be introduced to the world of Lego robotics. They will work in teams to design and program a robot that can complete an obstacle course, a speed raceway and a strength competition.

Race Against Time, Oct. 25 to Nov. 20, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. Activities include challenging and hands-on programming that is designed to instill teamwork and problem-solving skills. Projects integrate math, science and technology while leading students through three main challenges: Dance to the Music, RoboHoops and Speed Racing. Fee: $99, made payable to DaVinci's Kids.

Alien Encounter, Nov. 27 to Dec. 18, Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m. Students will be led through an exciting adventure of two Lego astronauts who have crash-landed on an alien planet and must learn to communicate with aliens! Students will work in teams to resolve challenges combining computer technology, mathematics and science. Fee: $49, made payable to DaVinci's Kids.

Exploration Mars, Nov. 27 to Dec. 20, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. Teams of four students will build robots that explore Mars using inquiry-based activities that include collecting and analyzing data and conducting meteorology and geology experiments. Students will complete this RoboChallenge by navigating obstacles that they have created out of Lego bricks. Fee: $99, made payable to DaVinci's Kids.

Kinderdance: Wednesdays, Nov. 8-29, Dec. 6-Jan. 3. For ages 3 to 5. Kinderdance is a planned developmental dance and movement fitness program taught in three levels. Each four-week session will include instruction in ballet, tap, acrobatics, and creative dance. All classes will be held at the Stafford Gymnastics and Recreation Center, 500 Nelms Circle in Falmouth. Fee: County residents $55, nonresidents $65.
