Several University of Mary Washington indoor track and field team members finished well in the Christopher Newport University Lidlifter Sunday.

Pole vaulter Jen Garritt finished third in her competition with a vault of 9 feet; Julia Rothlisberger set the pace for the Eagle milers with a time of 5:31; and Chia Winchester ran a 2:33 in the 800 meters.

For the men, Justin German cleared 6-2 in the pole vault, and Sean O'Neill and Mo Yusuf ran the 800 meters in a time of 2:03.

The Eagles will continue the indoor season after holiday break.
