Eagles sharp at CNU meet
UMW roundupDate published: 12/5/2006 From STAFF REPORTS Several University of Mary Washington indoor track and field team members finished well in the Christopher Newport University Lidlifter Sunday. Pole vaulter Jen Garritt finished third in her competition with a vault of 9 feet; Julia Rothlisberger set the pace for the Eagle milers with a time of 5:31; and Chia Winchester ran a 2:33 in the 800 meters. For the men, Justin German cleared 6-2 in the pole vault, and Sean O'Neill and Mo Yusuf ran the 800 meters in a time of 2:03. The Eagles will continue the indoor season after holiday break.
