Little hope on the horizon for Virginia Tech football

I believe in giving credit when credit is due. Skeptics of Virginia Tech quarterback Sean Glennon gave him a chance to prove himself, and once again he showed his inexperience and lack of confidence ["Glennon's play sours Blacksburg," Jan. 1].
Glennon once again gave a disappointing performance and reinforced the fact that he does not deserve the support he has been given or the position he supposedly has earned.
Perhaps Virginia Tech is basking in the glory days of the Vicks, but with quarterbacks who cannot get the job done when it is most important, and conservative coaching that cannot adjust to the higher standards of better football teams, the future of Virginia Tech football looks bleak with no national championship in the near future.
