The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team fell to 9-3 on the season with a 73-68 loss at Salisbury University on last night in Salisbury. UMW falls to 3-1 in Capital Athletic Conference play, while Salisbury improves to 4-0.

UMW trailed 71-68 with 20 seconds remaining, and got an open look at a tying three pointer, but fouled on the rebound after the ball rimmed out. SU made a pair of free throws for the final margin.

Mike Lee and Justin Baker each had 13 points to lead UMW.

The Eagles will host Gallaudet University on Saturday at 4 p.m. in another CAC contest.
