CATCH AND RELEASE (PG-13) A distraught young woman struggles to accept the death of her fiance and the secrets he kept while she tries to start a new life. Starring Jennifer Garner, Timothy Olyphant, Kevin Smith and Juliette Lewis. Rated PG-13 for sexual content, language and some drug use. [RF]

EPIC MOVIE (PG-13) It's the latest satire film, this time targeting big-budget epics and more. With Carmen Electra, Fred Willard, David Carradine and many more. Rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, language and some comic violence. [RF, RA, M]

PAN'S LABYRINTH (R) This is a tale of a young girl who travels with her mother to live in a rural part of Spain in 1944 after Franco's victory. Much of the tale exists in a fantasy world the girl creates to deal with her own life and the Fascist repression at its height. Rated R for graphic violence and some language. [RF]

SMOKING ACES (R) This promises to be a no-holds-barred film about a performer-turned-snitch (Jeremy Piven) whom a lot of people want to see dead. The cast of those involved includes Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Andy Garcia, Ray Liotta, Peter Berg and more. Rated R for strong bloody violence, pervasive language, some nudity and drug use. VOLVER (R) After her death, a mother returns to her home to attempt to fix problems she couldn't solve while alive. Starring Penelope Cruz. Rated R some sexual content and language [RF]
