Holiday closings

Here is how area schedules will be affected by the President's Day holiday on Monday:

LIBRARIES Central Rappahannock Regional Library, Caroline Library and Smoot Library in King George County will be closed Monday.

MAIL SERVICES

Post offices will be closed Monday. No delivery except Express Mail.

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

All city, county and federal offices will be closed Monday. State offices, including the Virginia Employment Commission and the DMV, will be closed; ABC stores will be open.

TRASH SERVICES

All area landfills will be open Monday. All local trash service will operate on normal Monday schedule.

TRANSPORTATION

FREDericksburg Regional Transit will run on normal Monday schedule. Quick's Bus Line will operate on an abbreviated schedule on Monday. Virginia Railway Express will not run on Monday.
