IT'S A PLAID, PLAID WORLD: Highland dancers will put a little kick into this weekend's festivities at the Fredericksburg Indoor Highland Dance Festival Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church in Spotsylvania. Sponsored by the Commonwealth Highland Dance Association, the event will have performers competing for prizes.

'R&J' IS A-OK: The University of Mary Washington's department of theatre and dance brings an adaptation of the Shakespeare tragedy 'Romeo & Juliet' to the stage. 'Shakespeare's R&J' continues tonight through Sunday at UMW's Klein Theatre.
