The Inn at Kelly's Ford and "All Things Irish" will sponsor a St. Patrick's Day fundraiser for Culpeper's State Theatre Foundation on March 17 from 5 p.m. until midnight.

A live band from County Cork, Ireland, will entertain and the Morrison Brothers and Timmy "The Brit" McCarthy will be dance callers.

The event will also commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Kelly's Ford with Civil War re-enactors firing cannons.

Silent and live auctions will be held for items including four Washington Redskins tickets (plus parking) for the game of your choice, a Caribbean cruise, and sports memorabilia autographed by John Riggins, Dan Marino and other well-known athletes.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for students, and must be purchased in advance. There is no charge for children under 12.

Tickets are available at the State Theatre office at 307 S. Main St., Petersen's Jewelers, Rathuil, Frenchman's Corner, Corner Shelf Bookstore, Pepperberries, Second Bank and Trust (main office on Main Street), Wachovia Bank (Main Street office) and BB&T Bank (Davis Street office).

The nonprofit foundation is raising money to renovate the old theater in downtown Culpeper. For more information, call 540/727-7979.
