Gus needs a home; visit him at the SPCA

My son and I have made a weekly habit of donating to the Fredericksburg SPCA. Even though he is young (10 months), I am trying to instill in him compassion and caring. We both love to visit the animals and see the items we donate in use.

One particular dog has captured my heart over the past few visits. His name is Gus, and he has been an SPCA resident since December.

At six years of age, this hound mix is neither a spring chicken nor a snow bird. With two dogs, four ferrets, and a parrot already under our modest roof, I hope someone will be able to provide a home for Gus.
