Two area firms get national acclaim
Spotsylvania County business recognized as one of fastest-growing companies in country.

Two Fredericksburg-area companies are among the 500 fastest-growing private businesses in the U.S., according to Inc. magazine.

Inc. magazine's September issue contains its annual list of the 500 fastest-growing independently held companies in the U.S.

CorpComm Inc. and A-T Solutions Inc. both made the list. CorpComm placed 122nd on the list, and A-T Solutions was no. 155.

CorpComm is a communications firm that provides marketing and strategic communications services for federal government clients. It was founded in 2001 and is headquartered on Fall Hill Avenue in Fredericksburg.

According to the profile in Inc., CorpComm's revenue went from about $204,000 in 2003 to $3.1 million in 2006. It has 39 employees.

A-T Solutions Inc. is headquartered on Bowman Drive off State Route 2 in Spotsylvania County, just south of the Fredericksburg line. It was founded in 2002.

The company trains the military and police on bomb detection and disposal, according to a description on Inc.com. It helps technology companies make products useful to the military. According to Inc., A-T Solutions' revenues rose from $1.3 million in 2003 to $17.5 million in 2006. Sales total more than $30 million annually. It has 77 employees.

A-T Solutions also placed no. 20 overall on Entrepreneur magazine's "Hot 500 list" of fastest-growing private U.S. companies.
