JUDAS GOSPEL SCHOLAR TO SPEAK
One of the translators of the Gospel of Judas will speak at the University of Mary Washington on Oct. 25.
Marvin Meyer, a professor and the U.S. member of the translation team for the ancient Coptic manuscript, which details a twist in the traditional tale of Judas Iscariot, will speak at the university's Great Hall at 6 p.m. Meyer's lecture is titled "The Gospel of Judas: New Light on the Early Church."
