I can't afford your tax increases, Mr. Skinner
I live on a fixed income since my retirement, and I cannot afford the tax increases that Gary Skinner has asked the Board of Supervisors to enact each year he has been on the School Board. Thankfully, Mr. Skinner could not raise my taxes while he was on the School Board. Do I want him on the Board of Supervisors where he can? Heck no. Charles Garland Spotsylvania
Skinner's big campaign signs are only on the developer properties. What does that tell us about him? He would serve the rich, and the people with reduced incomes would not be heard.
Who's worse- a guy who fights with everyone, but votes the right way against runaway spending or a guy who is a poster-child for wasteful school spending who may be more pleasant to hang around with? Is it worth the price we WILL PAY (and have paid since the school board spends most of our money) to change course?
