By DAN TELVOCK Dan: Bailey's Pub & Grille at Fredericksburg's Central Park serves a wide selection of food until 2 a.m., and that's my kind of place.Clay: It also has 36 beers on tap, and that'smy kind of place.Dan: Well, it looks like we're starting off this "Another Round" column on positive notes.Clay: Except that it took us forever to find parking, and I'm hungry!Dan: These steak fries are great. My mahi-mahi sandwich is average.Clay: I find mahi-mahi very boring. I lived in Hawaii, and to me, it's like the pork chop of the sea.Dan: Gee, thanks, Clay. I'm pumped to eat it now.Our Waitress: Would you like a lemon with your water so you don't get scurvy?Dan: Scurvy? What the heck is scurvy?Our Waitress: It's a disease pirates got when they didn't get enough vitamin C. That's why they had a lot of lemons on their ships.Dan: I knew I should have shaved tonight.Clay: I like her stockings.Dan: On the waitress?Clay: No, the pool players. Sheesh. Yes, the waitress!Dan: Not only does Bailey's have pool tables in a nonsmoking part of the bar, but it also has what is that?Our Waitress: It's shuffleboard.Clay (returning from the restroom): Bailey's has a total of 26 TVs throughout the restaurant, all tuned to sports programs; they just don't have any in the men's restrooms. But, they do have mouthwash!Dan: Mouthwash? That's a great idea.It's Thursday, and I can tell it's karaoke night. Didn't you hear the bad singing? Clay (as a Guns N' Roses song begins): I hope he doesn't try to sing this one.Dan: How's your Boddingtons beer, the Cream of Manchester?Clay: The cream of what? It's crisp and fresh, and my hot wings are not.Dan: Clay, I see a lot more guys here than girls. Didn't the waitress say they may bring in massage therapists and people who make nails look pretty to attract more women? That's the weirdest thing I have ever heard, sort of like finding mouthwash in a bar bathroom.Clay: Yeah, she did say that. I think the ratio is about 60-40, guys-to-girls, tonight.Dan: Those aren't great odds, and it's almost midnight. You ready to leave?Clay: Yes. But give me the rest of your steak fries.
