The Mountain View field hockey team has another date with the Stafford Indians following their 3-0 victory against Osbourn Park in the Northwest Region semifinals yesterday.

The Bears received a pair of goals from Amanda Babineau and a goal and an assist from Brittany Miner.

Today's championship game will be played at Mountain View, starting at 3:30.

During the regular season, Mountain View topped Stafford 2-1 and 4-3 in overtime. The two squads met again in the Commonwealth District finals with the Wildcats prevailing 2-0.

The Group AAA tournament begins next Thursday at Frank Cox High School in Virginia Beach with the local teams taking on the representatives from the Central Region--Thomas Dale and James River.

The Stafford-Mountain View loser takes on the Central champion at 1 p.m., then the winner opposes the Central runner-up at 3.
