Identification not needed at the polls
Affirmation form and provisional ballots available.

Date published: 11/5/2007

Lines will be shorter at the polls Tuesday if voters have a form identification and voter card though the ACLU says they are not required.

Without identification, ask for an affirmation of identity form. When voters arrive and their name is not on the rolls, they can still vote too. Simply ask for a provisional ballot. After the election it will be determined if the registrar's office dropped the voter name by mistake or if there was a problem with the registration.

Election results will be aired at :20 and :50 past the hour on election night starting after 8:00.
